El Pulso del Planeta is a joint effort of three organizations: Jim Metzner Productions, Self Reliance Foundation, and the Hispanic Communications Network.
Jim Metzner Productions has produced more than 5,000 short format, award-winning Pulse of the Planet radio programs since 1979.

Self Reliance Foundation (SRF) is a Washington DC-based nonprofit working to empower disadvantaged minorities by disseminating practical information and facilitating access to community-based services since 1979. SRF administers El Pulso del Planeta and develops educational resources to supplement the program as part of its science education website (www.celebralaciencia.org).
Hispanic Communications Network has long been a pioneer of Spanish-language communications with compelling, culturally-relevant programming. It is the largest educational and informational Spanish-language media company targeting Hispanics in the U.S. |
