Explore with your children!

Children are curious, full of questions about the world.  Sometimes, this curiosity makes them ask questions that parents do not know how to answer. Questions like: Where do stars come from? ¿What are the planets like? Why does the Sun rise in the east?

In addition to books and the internet, where can we find the answers? We are lucky to live in Washington, DC, where there are many opportunities to encourage children’s curiosity and offer them some answers. The exhibits in the National Air and Space museum are designed to answer questions about the planets and the Earth. At this time, the museum has exhibits with interactive images of our planet and a full-scale replica of the space shuttle Voyager. Come to the museum with your children and see the Earth from another perspective.
