Biology Biology is the scientific study of life. Biologists study living creatures and life processes. A biologist, for example, might be interested in learning about the life cycle of butterflies in the Amazon. Or, a biologist might investigate what our DNA (our genes) tell us about how human beings evolved from simpler animals.
